Default Bee on a Flower

I was doing yard work yesterday when I happened to catch this guy enjoying the warm beautiful day as well!!

20080203-0072

Thanks to this forum I knew to get comfy and wait and sure enuff, they came back!!

I set my P&S camera to manual focus at about 2 inches but I didnt use a tripod. I could sit in one spot and shoot at 5 flowers. Yes, it was the hard way and yes, I'll use a tripod next time!!

I took around 70 pictures and only saved 5. (Yeay digital!!)

I added the zoom blur hoping to get away from normal focal blur and also the bee was just taking off when I clicked!!! this is the only action shot I've taken in the 2500 or so pics with this camera.

comments welcome

I absolutely love the blur you've added to this shot, really gives an impression of action and that the bee is about to take off. The bright colors are also lovely.
