Default Pinhead

No this isn't about my IQ. (that would be much lower, somewhere in the range of a handball or slightly mature cucumber), LOL. This is a shot of an actual pinhead. It's roughly 3-1/2 cm. in lenth and the pinhead is barely 3/4mm in diameter. I took this shot with a homemade set-up I've developed to try to photograph snowflakes for my "Flakey Challenge".A Flakey challenge.
I think I will be able to catch a decent snowflake image with this set-up. Anyone who is interested in trying this, should check out the challenge.

Damn. I hate being geographically challenged.

P.S. What is this "snow" of which you speak? [ducks]

Inkista, check out the link. There's lots of opportunities for people who are Climatically Challenged (LOL). Anything that you can devise to get an image of something as small as a 1/2 mm diameter snowflake, could be adapted to use in colder weather. Any help to the members who are trying to accomplish this challenge, would be greatly appreciated. The winning set-up may wind up coming from a member living in a tropical location, since you don't have to actually shoot the flakes, as long as your set-up is capable of filling the frame with something that small. Thanks in advance for showing some interest.
