I like your shot! It requires good timing I think. I like the crop and composition of the photo as well of the reflections on the drip. My only concern IMHO is the drip does not outstand in the way you might like for the color background you have. Maybe trying another color background more uniform could help.
In overall I like the photo! Thanks for sharing it!

Just curious what is going on to the right of the droplet?

the gradient background is just the way the sink was being lit. I was using my 50mm. so DOF was very shallow. I was trying out the ext. tubes and lens combo again and turned the bathroom sink on till it had a steady drip. then got into position and started clicking trying to catch an interesting drop.

I like that shot, looks great. You said 55mm but what other settings (if any) did you use? I'm just getting into this hobby and would love to learn.

it was fully manual....aperture ring set at F/4 50mm speedlight on manual at 1/32 and speed was somewhere around 1/320 or so.
