I took this picture for the weekly assignment.
I took it in SuperMacro... with the charm actually touching the lens of my camera. The set up for the shot was a little odd... but seemed to work out. I took a ton of pictures to attempt to get the shot... and this one really jumped out... compared to other shots. I would appreciate any and all comments on what I could have improved... or changed. ![]() EXIF: Date and Time 2008:01:11 22:29:17 ISO 100 exposure 1/6 f/2.7 focal length 6mm flash did not fire (you can see my set up here) |

the charm was touching the lense? hope it didn't scratch it! and i just saw the setup, i've never tried setting up shots before, but it really makes a difference doesn't it? wish i had something more helpful to say than that. um, next time try getting the glass itself in focus rather than the chain. and also i think it would look better if the background was a uniform colour. aside from that i don't have anything else to say, sorry i couldn't be more help.

I love the photo! Maybe you could try doing something on the back side of the gem to make it all one color instead of having the line through the middle?!
Otherwise, Great shot!
