Default The Origami Killer

Hey guys, today I tried to remake the cover for Heavy Rain, though there are a few things that bother me.

I've shown this to a couple of people and they said "It's an origami, so what", they didn't notice the blood. Should I crop it? Add more blood? I think it's the composition itself that is wrong. Please, some criticism.

Personally, I would leave it. If someone is going to take the time to really look at your photo, and every detail, you shouldn't have to explain beyond the title.

The blood is really dark. I can see how someone might not notice it. It's a neat shot though. I see an origami eagle with blood on it's talons. What's it supposed to be?

The blood is dark because, well, it's blood. And yes, it's kind of what you said, an origami eagle (well it's a spanish pajarita).

It was an attempt to recreat Heavy Rain's cover (look it up on google), in which the Origami Killer leaves a small origami dipped in blood beside the victim.

But that was actually the thing I noticed when I googled it. In the cover, the blood is much brighter (accurate or not). That might be where the difference is...

I noticed the blood, but it doesn't POP out because it rests upon a fairly dark surface. I wonder if you laid the origami upon a slightly lighter surface if the blood would POP a little more.
