Default My First Try At Water Drops

http://a05-b05.mypicturetown.com/P2P...item.JPG?rot=1

This is the Best Picture out of about 40 of my first adventure into Water Drops. I am not so sure about the coloring and container I was dropping into (White Sink) and Ideas as to how to create more contrast and how to get bubble/droplet to stand out more??

One thing you can do to get the water drops to stnad out more is to remove any other objects that may take away the focus of the water drop. Hence, the drain plug.
Also try if from an angle where you would be more eye level to where the drops are hitting th water

Cool, shot, maybe you could bring focus onto the drop more by zooming in or aggressively cropping,

Hmm...indeed it is quite difficult to capture water droplets..
To creat more contrast and brightness you can place a coloured reflective plastic in your container (which should preferably be transparent). This will give you much mor contrast. As for the bubble/droplet to stand out more, i think first you would need a better lens that can go up close for the shot. Secondly you should also use multiple flashes triggered from different direction. The combination of a lens which takes you closer and proper lighting will give you the results that you need.

High there,
know how you feel about getting these images just right, persevere and I am sure you will get there in the end, I know I did. One thing you might want to change is where your droplets fall, by that I mean above the sink, I place a glass bowl on top of something in the sink to raise the height above the sink making it easier to capture the moment. Have a look at mine on Flickr sometime and I am sure you will be doing the same before you know it.
Good Luck.
David.
