Default A Cactus Flower

Being new to close up photography, I wandered around the garden and got this shot of an unusual cactus flower. Using my Nikon D60 set at f5.6 and 1/500, with the zoom at 200mm. The shot was hand held.

Any constructive criticism will be most welcome...

Background is a bit Noisy. Which ISO setting did you use when taking this picture?
Outstanding effort though.

Now you mention it, the background does seem a little noisy, but it was only shot at ISO 100

Agree with others. Would like to see part of the cactus. How does what you shot relate to the whole... without more of the cactus I don't know what I am looking at and can't relate to it. Could maybe see this as part of a series where I can form that context, but not a single photo.
