Default Carpenter Bee_Relook

Greetings,

I posted this picture a few months back and thought I'd revisit it and make some adjustments. I adjusted the saturation and used the patch tool a little as well, and came up with:

Unlimited Free Image and File Hosting at MediaFire

Camera: Kodak Easyshare Z1012 IS Digital Camera
Where: Buckley WA
Focal Length: 70.2 mm
35mm Equivalent: 396mm
Exposure Time: .001 seconds (1/1000)
Flash: Not Used
Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: 400
Exposure Bias: 0.0
Metering Mode: Matrix

Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks,
James

It might be helpful for folks to know what you are wanting us to critique. The processing you did? Maybe the camera settings or maybe the composition.
Asking something a bit more specifc will usually land you quite a bit more responss.

I like this pic but personaly I think if the bee and the flower were in color it might look better have the background black and white and the focus point in color.

Thank you Windrider,

I would like critique on the post processing I did. Any specific improvements you could suggest are much appreciated (i.e. adjust curves, levels, etc.)

Thanks,
James

First... it`s not a macro. :-\
If You postprocess, than first try to crop an image, if the composition is not that good.
My version of PP...
