The ink on my newbie membership card is still damp and I'm having fun exploring and being overwhelmed with the great features of the PowerShot. Is the focus OK with this? What about the lighting? The original flower has more pink along the center stem. The absence of that coloring comes from the change in lighting, but I didn't write down which changes I made to the light. There was both incandescent and tungsten for the shoot. (Will have to remember to do that next time.) A black background from Photoshop fixed the distraction of the original backdrop.

WOW! What a fantastic shot!!! What did you submerge it in?? Would love to know how you've done it!! =)

Everything seems well exposed and I love the crisp detail in the top right of the flower, great job!

You could maybe try saturating it a little to see if the colours will pop out more but I do quite like it as it is and maybe clean up those few tiny little white specs in your background (unless you like them there for effect)

Once again, Fantastic job!! =)

Thanks for the comments. It's a Christmas Cactus submerged under water. Let it sit and check progress.
