Default Bee-utiful sunflower

Hi, I was fortunate enough to have a field of sunflowers next door to my home this summer, so tried to take a few nice photos. I'm new to this though, so I want to know how I can improve. This is one of two pictures that I'm quite happy with. It was cropped quite a bit but otherwise unmodified. So, questions are - do you like the amount of cropping? is the focus okay? depth of field? and - is it interesting or is it just me that thinks so? Basically, even though I like it, how could I make it better?

thanks in advance for looking.

Hi there,

I must say I love the shot!!
As a slight improvement I would probably crop it a bit better... Try following the rule of thirds... Your Bee is placed just right of the first vertical line... Move it more on the first intersection and I think it would look beeee-autiful (mind the pun =p )

Overall great shot though.. everything seems nice and crisp focus wise and it is lit to perfection =)

Thank you so much. You're right, I should crop it better. I'll try that this weekend (or maybe before if I get a chance). Thank you for looking and commenting.
