yes you could call that macro and a good one too the top of the flower is a tad blown out but other that that it's great

By the stricktest of definitions, it probably isn't. Traditionally for macro photography the image being photographed is the same size on the film/sensor as it is in real life. So if that bug were actually 10mm long it would take 10mm of sensor realestate to capture that image. However, many people use the term macro to include any close up photography, in which case this would apply under the looser definition.

If you want to go for a true macro, then I'd move or zoom in even closer, so that just the flower and the bug fill up the frame. This would eliminate the black area on the left, and probably give your shot a more dynamic composition, moving the emphasis from the flower, which is in the very center of the shot to the bug, which isn't centered on the flower.
