First shot I've liked with my new Tamron 90MM Macro.
What are your thoughts on the composition, interest, and contrast? ![]() Shutter Speed: 3.2 seconds Aperture: f/18.0 Focal Length: 90 mm ISO: 100 Full Size Last edited by edeloach; 10-23-2009 at 02:48 AM. |

Personally I think that the center of the watch face should be placed more to the upper-right so the viewer could see more of the band. I'd like to see more close up shots of the metal and the glass. I'm a fan of decay and imperfections.
With that said I really like this picture. Especially since we can see the imperfections and wear in the watch itself. |

I like this new shot! The new one looks like a professional picture you'd see in a jewelry store (without the whole brand logo). The only thing I have to say is what is that white reflection(?) in the glass? Is that a reflection or is there a bubble in the glass? You can see it in the first one too. It gives off a really neat refracted effect except once I noticed it it's all I can look at (which is unfortunate because I really do like this new one).

The whole piece of glass has a curved bevel along the edge and I think that's what you are referring to. If you're speaking of the white mark above the date counter, that's a scratch ![]() Thank you so much for the feedback though
