![]() Please give me some feed back. The picture of this rose was taken in my living room with the only lighting source being the regular house lights and the flash from the camera. I used a macro filter on a 70mm to 300mm lens. I was trying to get a dreamy soft look to this rose. Do you think I could have created more of a dreamy look with different lighting? Or, is there another filter I could have added? Also, there must have been something on my filter because I have some dark specks in the same spot on all of the pictures I took. (It is clean now). What inexpensive program can I use to correct these spots? Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Camera: Olympus Lens: 70mm to 300mm with macro filter Setting: Auto F-number: F8 SS: 1/120 ISO: 100

i went to your flickr account and saw this image....
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2438/...536afe5ded.jpg in this one, you've over-exposed quite a bit......to me, it has that dreamy effect that i think you might be after.....maybe duplicating what you did with this one would work better for your rose...... also, i think your flash overshot it's mark and didn't hit your rose......i'm not sure if it is an on-board flash or not...... if it is, maybe stepping back a pace or two would have it falling across your rose center...... ![]() peeper |
