Default Macro Attempt

While on a hike I tried to get some pictures of various flowers. This was one of the pictures that I particularly liked.

Is the framing boring?
Should I have stayed with the more typical 3rds and tried to get the flower on a intersection point?
Do you think this picture is wall hang worthy?

Thanks for all the feedback

I like background of your photo but I feel nothing about flower. If I hang it on my wall I would get some bright colored frame.

Thanks for the response. I thought the picture was missing something and it could be the boring subject.

I'll keep shooting.

Small leggy subject is best done in portrait. Exaggerate the positives.

Let me know if you want it taken down.
