Default Marbles !!

Losing Marbles ? Nope !

My first entry in an project. I'm just a beginner, so any advice would be of great help !
Model : Canon IXUS 80IS
ISO Speed : 80
Exposure : 1/6 seconds
Aperture : f2.8
Auto White Balance
No exposure Bias
Lighting : Flash light from top

Great idea on subject. I am bothered by the lack of focus on all but the left middle marble... having both the foreground and background blurred takes away too much, for me. Maybe a shot from higher up looking down, where more of the subject could be in focus, might work.
Am curious what lens you used. I am contemplating a good closeup lens and would love some feedback from others. Keep it up!

Its Ixus 80IS, point and shoot. So yeah, its the 6.2 to 18.6 mm normal lens that comes with it. As i mentioned before, i'm a total beginner. so yeah. But thanks for the tip. I can experiment more with this and probably it'll work out better
