What’s Your Preference?

A friend lent me his 200mm macro today, and this was one of the many pictures I took. I can't decide if I like it or not, and if not exactly why not. I love the colors of the lavendar, but I worry that the angle doesn't give the right perspective for being able to identify the flower. Also, I'm not sure if I like the super sharp parts contrasted with the out-of-focus parts. It almost makes me dizzy, I would love input. Thanks!

Great focus, but I would probably like to see it from a higher perspective to get more of the spread of the bloom. Colors are gorgeous! Wish I had your lens!

I wish I had it too! I offered my children in return for the lens, but my friend wasn't too interested in a trade
