Firstly, I love the color in it. The background has great texture, yet isn't overwhelming.
The color of the mushrooms (?) is so vibrant against the grey that it pulls my eyes right to them.

Although I like the shape that they mushrooms are now I think that if the shot was taken from almost under them it would have given it some more dimension.

I like the photo, I think the color and the placement works really well against the background.

There is a yellow leaf in the bottom right of the frame though that is pulling my attention away from the mushrooms, I would have got rid of it.

Default nice composition

The composition is nice, but I am wondering if you had really low light, as you shot with ISO 800 at 1/20th... which has made your shot a little soft. If this was handheld, it is still pretty good for 1/20, but a lower ISO and faster shutter would obviously help with clarity.
Other than that... I also love the color and contrast with the background.

Yup! Very low light and handheld. Not to mention that I was pouring with sweat!
