Waterdrops on Leaves

Simply Amazing...This photo is so great...the drops like pearls on leaves. Beautiful Capture.

A suggestion though, that you could lighten the leaf, i.e. brighten it a little bit so there is more contrast between the leaf and the background. That way the leaf will "stand out" more and the photo will have a bigger impact.

I agree. The composition is excellent, but the leaves and droplets need light.

Based on the suggestions provided - By Rob and Kaze - I quickly, attempted a post process on your photo.
Using techniques I picked up from John Paul Caponigro, luminous-landscape, Cambridge in Color and this forum, I came up with.

I adjusted the

• curves then
• "brightness and contrast" and finally
• the colours (using the channel mixer).
• I then sharpened the image using the unsharp mask tool.
