Cool Look into my eyes

I took this shot yesterday after a big rain storm. I looked outside and saw it on the back porch. I just want to know anything I could've done to make this picture better.

Flash: Off, Did not fire

I kind of like the angle and how the grasshopper appears to be looking right at you. I think I would go for a tighter crop to remove some of the distracting whitespace at the top of the image. Nice job!

I agree with fbroschart. With a tighter crop, it going to the grass hopper in your face. Nice
