Hi Guys
Just starting out in photography and I lent over and caught this shot of my sons eye sitting in the car when we were on a camping trip. It was taken on a Pentax ISD ds and i think the setting were f8.0 1/45sec iso 200 The sun through the window left the eye a natural gold of the reflective sun, was it effective or should there be greater contrast from the shadows, was the depth of field appropriate? Not really sure what I am talking about but any feedback you can provide will be appreciated. Thanks again for your time Phil Last edited by StudioMojo; 09-16-2009 at 04:23 PM. Very nice. The focus seems to be spot-on the eye, which I really like. I think that your depth of field is just right -- perhaps crop out a bit from the bottom right, where the blurred nose is a little distracting. In fact, in general, I find the shadows don't add much and just take away from the eye.
Overall, it's a cool photo. Good job!
