a kamloops sunset

i'm always trying to learn and i use my flowers and yard to help me learn...i know this isn't perfect........and i still use the auto setting.......my camera is new to me.
it is a pentax k200 and i used the the 70-300 with macro lens.

That drip (and the row of babies to follow) is just waiting to fall, its like a slow motion movie and the complementary colours (purple/yellow) are a really nice thing to set off the drip. I feel the big orange oval shape on the left distracts my eye a bit so perhaps a vertical view might have worked to eliminate the influence of it on the viewer, also it would take the drip away from the centre of the photo. Maybe try cropping closer and see if it works - just suggestions from an "L" plater.

I really like this shot. I love the reflection in the water drop. If you could have waited just a second or two longer to allow the drip to form just a little bit more. All in all a great photo.

thanks i did try the drop a couple of times but missed a great drop...........i will always practice for that one.

the orange oval shape in the pic is the sun setting ...........i was going for the reflection in the drop of the sun but the pic didn't work quite right so i went with this one. ..i will try the cropping as suggested.................
