Default My 1st attempt at macro

I don't know how to add the exif yet sorry.

Maybe it's due to image compression, but that bee seams out of focus to me. Sorry.

There is one leaf on the left that seems to be more in focus than the bee, which seems to be the focal point of the shot. I have the same problem shooting Macro with auto focus. Wouldn't it be great if the "auto" could read our minds and focus where we want it to?

Actually, there are ways. My camera has an auto focus lock so that you can focus on the subject, hold the button down and recompose the shot and the focus stays the same. It's a new camera so this feature really impressed me.

I really shoud have used a tripod as far as the focus lock I have that I remember reading about it in the book but I can't remember how to use it.
