Flower in the Rain

This was just a quick snapshot in the middle of the rain with my dad holding an umbrella over my head. Despite the conditions, how do you all think I could have made the light and/or color better? Thanks in advance for your help.

I think the colors are ok. I think you should have picked a better subject. For me flowers on the way out are not apealing. Se if there are any just starting to bloom or freshly out. I think they make better subjects. I would also like to see the water droplets from the rain. Don't see much of that. Maybe if you zoomed in on the water droplet dripping off the flower petal.
