Arrow Droplets

Here is a shot of droplets I took recently. These droplets were formed on the back of dead leaves in the morning (due to overnight rains). I moved these leaves indoors for this shot. Pl let me know your thoughts.

After the rains

Aperture: f/8
Shutter: 1/25
ISO: 400
Metering mode : Avg
No flash.

Hi there! I don't know much since I am a beginner, so most of what I am going off of is aesthetics. I love the droplets, but I don't like the material they are on, it takes away from the beauty of the leaves and droplets, and makes it look staged.

Otherwise, the droplets are beautiful! How did you move them without them dripping off or bursting?

Any chance of you posting your image? It makes it much easier to view your image here than to try and go back and forth from one page to another to offer you critique

the droplet lack of clarity and sharpness, try to tune up the sharpness of your droplet. The back ground is just too distracting, almost over shadow your object. I rather leave out the background or darken it to minimise the details.

Looking at your photo, I want to say if you had just the small leaf with the water drop, against the black material, it would have been a Stunning photo, but with the bigger leaf in the background, it throws the compositon off for me.
I believe in the KISS principle and you could have had a real beauty if you had kept it simple.
Great focus on the water drop and a good Idea!
Thanks
Michael
