Geez, what are you going to do for an encore?? Great shot, love the colors and the focus is great, very sharp!

This is a very nice shot (especially for a first attempt), but one thing I found wrong with it is the big black area under the splash. (result of the flash, maybe?). You might want to keep that in mind for your next shot.

Lovely colors, and nice that the entire drop is in focus--I've tried this a couple times and keep ending up with only part of the drop in focus.

what did you use for the coloring?

Samuel: Thank you for your comment. Yes, is probably from the flash hitting my blue cover in under my glass container.

Rengles: I was using a red top table with a blue cover under my glass container and a blue reflector. When the flash fires, it creates a mixture of red and blue in the center hence the purple in the center (red mix blue).
