Just one quick suggestion which may or may not work, but it's worth a try:
Increase your exposure bias. It's worth a try. ![]() Also you should try to get both in focus, in my opinion. Last edited by JamesO; 06-24-2009 at 11:12 PM. Reason: added more info |

Use a smaller aperture to get all of both of the rings in focus. For the diamond to sparkle I suggest moving either the ring around so the the light is reflecting off the diamond into the lens or moving the light around to do the same. I think that the photo could use something else in it. Maybe a flower from the wedding or one of the invitations. Just an opinion though.

Increase Exposure Compensation for brighter pic
For Sparkle use a household white (or yellow) flash light (torch light) and point its beam on diamond and take the pic from where u see sparkle.. This can be done from img editing s/w or with star filters Add a contrasint color like red rose bud or velvet cloth as part of the pic.. good luck trying ... do post if u tried any suggestions
