Post Flower Shot

I used this photo in my last project this quarter. Would it have been better if I focused on the stems in the middle? I love the petals. I made the photo an attachment instead hope this makes it bigger. Thanks for advice all.

I am not really qualified to critique, and looking at such a small photo makes it difficult to tell, but there is a blur to the right side that is distracting to me...not sure what it is....can't tell about the focus on such a small photo.

Had you gone to f/11 or f/16, the pistil/stamen/petal combination may all have been in focus, so less OOF bits to distract. This one seems soft overall. As leonaashlee suggests, a larger image makes Critique more thorough and helpful to you.
