Default My butterfly

EXIF

Shutter : 1/200
Aperture : 10
ISO 100
Focal length : 55mm

Camera: Canon 350D 18-55mm lens

I got very little time to take the photo of this creature sitting on a spent candle in my apartments balcony. Still I am thankfull to this butterfly that she gave me enough time to bring my camera focus it and take the shot from very close quarters. One shot thats all I cud take as she flew away. When I downloaded it I found that right side of the wing was blurred (I was shocked!!), which I tried to enhance it in GIMP.
I would like to hear..
1) I do not know why it got blurred probably i was too close??
2) Composition i.e. how the butterfly is placed. Whether placing the butterfly horizontly instead of diagonally wud be better? In original photograph the fly was in diaonal only.
3) Exposure conditions

I did not modify anything in software except enhancing the right wing of the creature.

I am not qualified to critique, but wanted to say I love the colors of this butterfly...and nice work.
