Is the background too distracting?

I think the flowers are beautiful. However, if you want the spider to really be noticed, I think I would crop much tighter on the main flower.

I agree with Turningleaf... I think you nailed the exposure, but I totally missed the spider on my first look.......cropping to make the main flower full frame would be a nice improvement. Overall nicely done. Keep on shooting!
