Question Hypnotic Bug

Hi guys, this is my first ever post, but don't be afraid to be harsh, I know I have a lot to learn.

I took this shot just today. What do you think about the composition? Lighting? Anything else? This photo is already cropped but should I crop even tighter? Thanks!

Since I am not experienced enough, I will not go in depth into your photo, except to tell you I like it...interesting bug. For myself, I probably would have cropped more off the right side, but I would wait to hear what the experts say.

Hi and welcome to the forum. For your first post you did a great job. You could crop it even tighter if you like but this image works as is. Good depth of field use also.
