Default Yellow Rose
Here is one of my first attempts at a macro shot. Please tell me what you think of the composition and lighting, and if you have any advice on how to improve. I didn't use Photoshop on this photo. Thanks!

StuffNthings, IMO petals are distracting from subject ( that I guess is the center of the flower ) try in a different angle where you can focus on the main subject, keep shooting!!!

I have to agree. If the petals were in focus it would improve the shot.
