Default Vibrant Flowers - too much? Please help ASAP

Not fully macro but close... How is it composition wise, color, contrast etc? I know the colors are pretty strong but I am possibly having it hung in a mediterranean/italian restaurant in 2 days so I wanted the colors to be vibrant without over doing it? Did it work? Any suggestions...feel free to edit for examples. Thanks!

Hi shutternut:
I'm not sure about the colors or about exposure, as it feels that a little bit more brightness could help. Also, I think it's not the best crop or subject placement you can choose. I would try other crops, angles and lightening.
Thanks for sharing it!

Yes, I'm not very fond of the crop myself..it wasn't my first choice but out of the options I think it turned out to be the better one because otherwise the flowers end up centered. How would you crop it?

I'm ok with the crop, you need to clean up the bottom right of the picture and a little bit on that bottom flower.

I like it more! =P

You might want to experiment with different approaches and then pick the most you like.

I'm not sure how - I try the clone tool and only mess it up! How do I go about getting those spots toned down? I tried hue saturation but that didn't help as much as I needed it to.

Do it on a layer copy and try different brush settings. Or if you have the healing patch tool, try that.
