    So did I capture the moment? What improvements could I make?

    The eye could be a sharper. I am only a beginner so don't take me too seriously but if it were me I would have boosted up the ISO to allow a faster shutter speed than 1/25. That would have helped with the the lack of sharpness. Also it looks a bit flat, not sure it might be a bit underexposed too so a faster shutter speed may have helped here again.

    Also the composition could have been better. It would have been really nice see a bit more of the brow above the eye.
