Here is my second attempt at Bokeh. First image in same forum under - Help me improve (bokeh) So I used flash with this one. I tried using a flashlight ( did not work well at all :P) I really want the ring to be the subject of the photo. There were little dots in the middles of each hearts so I used the cloning tool in Pixelmator to edit. (noticeable?) Should I have used a different technique? Any general ideas to make the photo better would be great. I do see that the ring is slightly out of focus. So hard to see on such a tiny screen

Much better on the lighting! I definitely see the ring right away now, and it's obviously the subject. As far as focusing- can you shine the flashlight on the ring to try and get the focusing right? I know it's hard when it's dark.
