What do you guys think of composition in this one? Also please comment on color. Im working on a non-calibrated monitor as far as i know. It looks great on my screen though. This was edited in LR3. General stuff like crop, targeted colors, sharpen, noise reduction etc.

I like it although I couldn't read your full post due to an ad that popped up. Is there a reason you used ISO 400? Did you submit this picture the green weekly challenge?

I bumped it up so i could get the higher shutter speed. I wanted at least 1/80 because i was handheld for it and i wanted to make sure it was sharp. No i didnt. Should i? lol

I like the colours a lot but not the crop so much. It feels awkward to me - I feel as though an arch of branch has been cropped off the top (it may not have been, it just looks that way).

Personally I would prefer a much much closer crop, probably vertical orientation.

But this is all just personal preference.

Well i just checked the original and i actually didnt crop it. I thought i did. I can certainly crop it and repost if you'd like to see that. Personally i think the bottom should be taken up some. Im not really sure why i framed it like that now that i think back on it.

Ooooh yes that's much much better! Looks fantastic. Much better than the crop I had in my mind which would have gotten rid of that interesting and balancing component on the left.

the second one is a better crop. personally i would have gone for a vertical panoramic crop to give the water drop a destination.
