Exclamation Playing card

This shot is from the ad card from a deck of cards made by Theory11
I took it in a casino on the giant poker chips they had there. Is the composition good? And what do you think of the lighting?
I used the camera's pop-up flash

I find myself confused by the photo because I don't know what's going on in the background... 1/60 is as low as I ever go for a hand help photo but even then it's difficult for me to be completely still. Did you use a tripod? I just don't think it's infocus like it should be. The lighting seems boring to me as well but I personally hate on camera flash
