I'm hoping that after you sleep on it that you might like to stay. It's truly a great place to learn and to meet new friends!

DPS has a lot of activity!
If you're talking about this thread, the reason you aren't getting answers is because you need to edit your post to follow all the rules, Then you may get better and more replies.

You mean the Beatles assignment? The winners are posted on the DPS blog, if that's what you want to see.

Please don't leave DPS... sleep on it, you may feel different in the morning.

well with the sun being so bright iso 100 would have been sufficient. I'm wondering maybe it seems out of focus because of the zoom. Try getting closer next time (hard I know, I'm TERRIFIED of bees :/) I'm a newb and don't know much but I've been given this advice before so I'm passing on the knowledge And please don't leave! I don't feel like i have enough posts to look at in the day, we need more people to post pictures.... it's how we learn too.

The background on the second shot is very interesting! It matches the black and yellows of the wasp. I also like where you put your subject. I definitely feel relieved because of the clearance to the right.

If you want to make the shot more tense, try moving your camera and compose the wasp into a non traditional position in the photo. That way, when looking at it, you'll feel a sense of discomfort, something you also feel when dealing with a wasp.
