Default Chirstmas picture

Hey guys,

here's one of my favorite picture from this holidays.
Exif data: Canon EOS 1000D, 50 mm, f 2/8, ISO 400.
Looking forward to see your comments regarding composition and tehnique.

Nice photo. I find the specs in the bokeh are distracting - is this dust on your sensor?? I cleaned my sensor recently and got rid of a multitude of dust specs which had accumulated over the years. To check for dust on the sensor, set to highest f-stop you have (zoom out if zoom lens too) and take a photo of a white screen on your pc monitor (use longish exposure, e.g. 0.25s and keep the camera moving during the exposure to remove any blemishes which might be on the monitor, not your sensor)
