please tell me about the close up composition and vignetting effect of this photo...

I think the composition and the coloring is wonderful, I think you have overdone it a bit with the 'burn' around the edge, it is distracting...I do understand what you were going for (I think) but the burn should be blended a bit more, it is too abrupt.

I agree that the vignetting is a little thick for me. Maybe bring the vignetting in a little tighter but feather it more and decrease its opacity. I would also be interested in seeing a tighter crop on this image as well. It looks like the interior of the flower is very sharp and a tighter crop might showcase that a little better. Great image!

I have to agree that I don't like the vignetting effect. It's very distracting. A friend showed me how to do borders like this and I love how it frames it but is barely noticeable. I also like the pink flower better, the pectin on the white flower looks almost like it's glowing.

I think the image looks a bit overexposed or over-saturated or something. The colors seem to be bleeding together and there isn't enough contrast between the pedals to show the texture of the flower.

It could just be my monitor though
