Hi, my first try on close up as i'm very new to photography.
![]() Just wanted to focus on a part of the leaf and leave everything else out of focus. Natural light in evening at my wooden porch floor. Pls comment on composition, is it too much blank space, in focus, sharp enough? and lighting mood & tone. Thanks. ![]() IMG_6417 by OakPhoto, on Flickr Canon 60D, Tamron 70-300vc usd at 300mm Shutter 1/100 F8 ISO 400 |

I love it -- the colors and the mood. If I was going to nitpick I'd say tone done the orange in the upper left so it doesn't compete for attention with the leaf - maybe make it the same shade as the orange on the upper right ... this is a beautiful photo, nicely composed ...
