Default Diamond Lily

Here is an image of a lily pad I found at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory in St. Paul, MN (I take a lot of my pictures here ). What do you think of the composition? Do the discolored "leaves" on the Rt side take away from the other perfect ones?

Thank you for looking.

A little bit hard to look at anything else when the focus is off. Did you take this handheld? Is this a "macro" shot? Because that's got to be the tiniest lily pad I'd seen if it is

Composition is ok, but then again, because the focus is off, I really can't comment on anything else. Your settings are all over the place, too, with the ISO being so high and the shutter speed. What mode did you use?

I would try and save this shot in post processing and sharpen it. And then you can move on to playing around with the colours (vibrance, contrast, etc) and see what you can come up with.

Cheers,

Grace
