I usually don't take macros as the only lens I have is the Nikkor 18-105 which isn't exactly the best for close focus and shallow depth of field. This time I was in the garden and I decided to give it a try annoying this poor bumble bee.

I took some shots and I think this is the best I got. I did a bit of pp with LF, just a crop, some contrast and saturation.

Any suggestion to improve it? Better composition? Colors?

i like the colors as of the composition i would suggest cropping closer to the Bee and the two flowers..

Well, you are absolutely right. There is too much useless space in the picture.
