Default Contemplation

This is my second post here. I hope this is considered macro. I'm looking for specific critique to help me better my photography. The last picture I posted, while appreciated, got only praise, and no actual improvement tips. Please be brutal if you have to be.

info:

Nikon coolpix L110
exposer: 1/26
apeture: f 3.5
ISO: 400
no flash

My un-professional eye picked out several things.

1. I would love the see all the ears.
2. For me, if you were a bit more to the left to get both eyes really sharp
3. The background is a bit distracting. Try a narrower focal length to blur the background

I can understand where you may have been coming from. Otherwise, nice shot.

Hi spacepiggy, In my honest opinion, I will not consider this shot as macro, it is a simple portrait shot of a cat, but if you feature a specific part of a cat and show it's detail then it will be call a macro shot.

If you want a specific critique, be specific also on what you want to know rather than asking a broad questions.

That's for now and keep on shooting.
