hi,
good shot these are harder than we think to photograph, the center is nice and sharp, the outer seems a little over exposed but the histogram looks ok. It could be due to your ISO being at 400 try and set it to the lowest camera setting (usualy 100 or 200). i do find the black line through the back ground a distraction. Is it a macro? i would say yes but others may not agree, marco is getting 1:1 lifes size or better, a very basic tip is if you print a 6 x 4 inch photo is should be life size or bigger. That statement could start a discussion and im happy to be corrected

Not to be contrary, but I find the diagonal line separating the soft/darker background sets this shot apart from others. I think it helps to create the impression of depth. Overexposed - maybe, but I'm not so sure as white is white. I think the shot is fine except it's cropped a little too tight. White dots upper left and side right could be cloned out. Nice shot.
