Hey Bill welcome to DPS! Gorgeous carnation with wonderful colors. Did you want a critique? If so, take a minute to read the forum rules for Critique and let us know what you would like critiqued about this photograph. Jim

I used a Nikon D3000 with the 18-50mm kit lens
f/11
1/25 sec exposure
+2 stops and -2 stops for HDR.
Wondering about composition

For a carnation such as this one the composition works. Lots going on inside that flower. I do like the color palette and this makes a good picture when viewed large. Have you tried printing it yet? Jim

Would you mind if I printed it? Just for my use of course. Jim

Go ahead. Let me know if I might be able to get a little more pop to the picture.
