Default The giant chessset?

shutter speed : 1/60
aperture : f/5.8
focal length : 150mm
ISO : 100

Here, should i have tried focusing on all of them instead of one? And should the background be lighter? Anything else wrong wth the photo, Please do let me know.

i really really like this shot

how did you get the queen (i think) so bright? is that in PP or something you actualy did in lighting

what ever it is it definatly works

Thanks for that pal. Glad you like it. Its actually a king and its made of glass. So the light actually comes from inside it. And the source of light was exactly under the king. And thanks again for you liking the shot. It sure encourages me to go on with my photography...

I'm a big fan of shallow DoF so I think the idea you had to use a shallow DoF is a good one. The one thing I'd suggest is to make the focus on the King instead of the black knight in the background as it doesn't draw the eye as much as the king does.
Otherwise, it's quite a nice idea and the lighting is good.

@fuzzy : Ill sure try gettin one more with the more of the king in focus. Thanks for that.
