Hi and welcome!
Splended first post!
I sure like the blue colors.
from a critique point I really don't have much in the way of suggestion - maybe having a little more area for the drop to fall into would be the only thing I might try...

Good timing you have there! I agree with Bruce that there needs to be a little less croppage across the bottom. That way the drop has somewhere to go. As it stands now, my eye falls right out of the frame. On this monitor at work, it seems a little dark. Try ramping the exposure up a tad and see what that does for you. I really like the cold/blue tones you have going on here. The focus is pretty good too! Very nice first post, and welcome to DPS!

As it stands I don't like it simply because of the distracting shadow. The impression I get is that the drop just happens to be in the picture. Perhaps some cloning to get rid of the shadow?
I know some people resent doing pp, but if the tools are there why not use them in conjunction with your camera? I do woodworking as well and make use of all sorts of different tools and techniques to get to an end result. People look at the end result and does not normally ponder on the tools used to get there. (as long as it is your creation!)

I appriciate the timing on catching the long neck on the drop! The shadow in the background I thought was the actual faucet. I didn't allow it as a distraction.
Welcome to DP!!

Ah! I can't get a water droplet shot for the life of me, so kudos to you! I would love to see this at a slightly different angle, so the faucet neck (the shadow everyone is talking about) is off to the left of the frame and the water droplet is off to the right of the frame. That way, compositionally speaking, they aren't competing for viewer attention. Maybe brighten it a bit in an editing software. Otherwise, that blue is lovely, and the droplet is nice and clear! Great capture.
