A few comments:
- What is the focus point in this picture? I can't see it. Neither thumb nor the globe are in focus. Try to determine the focus point and then really get it tack-sharp and play with the aperture to determine how much focus is appropriate. How many shots did you take? I would assume this is the only shot you took. Try a different angle. - The space and lighting on the left of the thumb as well as the sofa is distracting. You could easily position this figure in front of a neutral background and shoot it without distractions. - There are couple of blown out spots in this picture and the globe is underexposed. Is that the back of a chair, or sofa in the background? It is the only thing in the frame that appears to be in sharp focus. Why?
