There was a small crop, but not really any more than to better the presentation. It may have been four to one now that I think of it, but it was last summer and I don't wright that down….Probably should….The MP-E65 goes up to five to one magnification. It enables you to photograph the eye of an ant if you wish, and if the little bugger will stand still long enough
