Default Rotational Composite

I captured this image today while revolting against the snow and terrible commute yesterday. I created it by compositing 14 images in PS using normal blending mode. For each image, I rotated the camera slightly.

Is there sufficient light on the front of the flower? Is the background OK? I wanted a solid black background, but I couldn't get the camera/flower angle right.

Thanks for your comments.

I really like the effect. It's fun to play around with overlaying layers in PS at varying opacity, and I assume the technique you used involves this? It's very creative application which produces a mesmerizing result... especially if one is not subject to vertigo

I like everything about it: It would make a great poster-size image to hang on the wall. Very attractive in both form and color.

Now... if only you had stopped down to, maybe f/11... but then there would be the softening effect of diffraction (just kidding

I may try this idea out myself this weekend.... Thanks so much for sharing it!!
